About using Goalloom, your data and AI.
Local tasks, history, backups, import/export and existing BYOK remain free. Your AI provider may charge for requests under your own key. Plus is a separate optional cloud service, not a task limit.
In Goalloom 1.11.0 for macOS, open Settings → Sync and sign in. In the Goalloom Plus section, choose “Start 8-day free trial”. Each account can activate one 8-day (192-hour) trial. No card and no automatic charge. Downloading, signing in and viewing plans do not start it. Windows Plus is deferred.
Your tasks stay in a local SQLite workspace on your device, with daily backups. Optional sync encrypts workspace content on your device before upload. The server stores ciphertext without your plaintext sync password or device private key, so we cannot directly read that encrypted task content. We still process necessary account and sync metadata. If you choose to use AI, the required input and context are readable by your selected provider; built-in AI also processes them through Goalloom. AI processing is outside sync end-to-end encryption. Enabling sync does not automatically encrypt the local database, exports or backups.
Payments and unused time are non-refundable except where applicable law or platform rules require otherwise. Duplicate charges, billing errors and service not supplied as agreed have a private support path. Apple decides Apple refunds. Trial and immediate activation do not waive statutory withdrawal rights. A refund does not restart a trial or automatically delete local data. Statutory rights remain.

FAQ
A verified purchase starts paid service immediately, without credit or extension for unused trial time. A refund does not restore that trial or grant another. A failed, cancelled or unconfirmed purchase leaves the original trial deadline unchanged.
Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel through the original channel and keep access until the paid period ends. Both monthly/annual changes take effect at the next renewal, without an immediate adjustment or prorated refund. Uninstalling or signing out does not cancel. Cancellation is not a refund or cloud-deletion request. The free trial does not convert itself into a paid subscription.
Cloud copies remain for 30 days after all valid trial, paid and grace access ends. Retrieval makes a separate local copy and requires account authorization and decryption credentials. It closes at the deadline; online deletion completes within a further 7 days. A later purchase cannot restore the old copy. Local data and BYOK remain available.
Both directions take effect at the next renewal, with the current price and period unchanged. No immediate adjustment or prorated refund. Cancelling renewal prevents a pending change from taking effect; confirm the next cycle and amount if you resume.
Only a failed paid automatic renewal receives 3 days from the original renewal deadline to update payment details, with Plus available. First-purchase failure, trial expiry and normal expiry after cancellation do not qualify. Web retries and future renewal stop after grace; Apple may continue retrying under its rules. After grace without other valid access, cloud writes and built-in AI stop. Payments already in progress still need verification.
Start or manage Plus in Goalloom 1.11.0 for macOS. Use the same Goalloom account, then follow the app to its secure payment or subscription-management page. Windows Plus and iPhone purchases are not available yet.
